Interior Design

The interior design of our lodges has a major impact on your project. Some clients rely on us to manage all aspects of the design, while others prefer to take the reins and showcase their own creativity. Regardless, we are proud to collaborate with some of the most talented and innovative interior designers in the country. Our small, approachable, and skilled team pays close attention to our clients’ needs and ensures that their personal style is reflected in the finished product.

Kate Guinness Design, a London-based team, recently helped us design a lavish tented bedroom for a country house hotel. The completed project is truly remarkable and has gained a lot of recognition. We are honoured to have worked with such a talented team at Kate Guinness Design on this project.

Luxury Bathrooms

Having a luxury bathroom in a safari tent can surprise and delight guests, providing comfort, convenience, and a touch of glamour. It can also attract travellers who appreciate high-end amenities and be a selling point for the hotel.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Vaniti House London for our bathroom products. Over the past 30+ years, the family business has become renowned as South Africa’s premier supplier of luxury bathroom products, and it is now gaining popularity in the UK market as well.

Landscape Design

Landscape design is a powerful tool for creating tranquil outdoor spaces that respect the privacy of guests. A well-designed landscape can provide a sense of seclusion and serenity, allowing guests to relax and unwind in a peaceful setting shielding guests from unwanted attention and helping them to feel more at home.

We are partnered with Ed Brawn Landscape Design – Ed has amazing vision and is able to translate them to his inspiring and beautiful sketches. These drawings bring the whole project to life and help the client to avoid costly mistakes.

Off-Grid Services

When building a remote accommodation or eco camp, it is essential to carefully consider the infrastructure needed to support the facility. This includes electricity, water, and sewage systems.

Electricity

One effective solution for providing electricity in a remote location is to use solar power with backup generators. This allows for a more sustainable and environmentally-friendly approach, while still ensuring that there is a reliable source of power available.

Water
To provide clean water while off the grid, there are several options to consider. These include digging a borehole, using a movable water bowser  or setting up a small desalination plant. Each of these options has its own advantages and may be more or less suitable depending on the specific needs and location of the project. We work with a range of contractors who have expertise in these areas, and we can help you to identify the best solution for your particular needs. Whether you are building a remote accommodation or eco camp, ensuring that you have a reliable and sustainable source of clean water is essential.

Maintenance
Our fabric lodges are designed and constructed to be incredibly durable and require very little maintenance. They are built to withstand harsh weather conditions and do not have guy ropes or ratchet straps that can wear out over time. However, it is important to recognize that accidents can happen and certain components may need to be replaced on occasion. To help ensure that your lodge stays in top condition, we offer a 3-monthly maintenance plan that includes checks and upgrades for any components that need to be replaced. For more information about this service, please feel free to contact us.

Spare parts
One of the benefits of focusing our range on a few pre-designed modular lodges is that we are able to stock a wide range of spare parts. This means that if any components need to be replaced, we can quickly and easily send them to you for next-day delivery. This allows us to minimize downtime and ensure that your lodge is always in top working order.
